Jennifer Lopez's new police drama Shades of Bluehas found its premiere date. The show will debut on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 9/8c with a special two-hour episode.

Also, because there is always room for J.Lo, after the premiere, the show will move to its regular timeslot on Thursday, Jan. 21 at 10/9c, replacing The Player, which was recently cut to just nine episodes.

Shades of Blue stars Lopez as Harlee Santos, a single mom and detective working with a tight group of officers in Brooklyn. Ray Liotta plays Lt. Matt Wozniak, a leader tempted to step outside the rules to get the job done and protect his team. Harlee becomes an informant for the FBI, pitted against her own team, where her handler, Special Agent Stahl (Warren Kole), develops an unhealthy obsession with her.
