See what she has to say

Is Jennifer Lawrence feuding with director David O. Russell?

Last week, TMZ reported that the pair got into a screaming match on the set of Joy that was "ear-piercing and laced with profanities." A rep for Fox 2000, the studio that's producing the movie, dismissed the incident as "method acting."

On Friday, Lawrence took to her Facebook page to set the record straight.

"There's been a terrible rumor going around the last 24 hours so I wanted to clear it up," she wrote. "David O. Russell is one of my closest friends and we have an amazing collaborative working relationship. I adore this man and he does not deserve this tabloid malarkey. This movie is going great and I'm having a blast making it!"

Russell also directed Silver Linings Playbook, for which Lawrence won an Oscar, and American Hustle, for which she earned an Oscar nomination.

In 2004, Russell and actress Lily Tomlin got into a blowup argument on the set of I Heart Huckabees that was caught on camera.
