Aaron Sorkin to guest on 30 Rock — as himself
According to THR, Sorkin spent time researching the project at Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews' MSNBC shows. This is the Oscar-winning screenwriters' first cable TV project. He previously created ABC's Sports Night and NBC's The West Wing andStudio 60.
Daniels, who received a Tony nomination in 2009 for God of Carnage, has starred in Speed, Dumb and Dumber and The Squid and the Whale. This would be his first regular series role.
