It's been a while since Saturday Night Live fans have gotten to see Jason Sudeikis put on the white wig to become the now-former Vice President Joe Biden, but with all the controversy afoot over the possible presidential candidate's close-talking and touchy-feely treatment of people, this weekend was as good a time as any.

This weekend's cold open featured Sudeikis returning to his role as VP Biden, as his team insists he work with a sensitivity trainer to ensure he can modernize his behaviors. "You guys know that I'm a tactile politician, right? I'm a hugger, I'm a kisser, and I'm a little bit of a sniffer," he tells them. "But the last thing I ever want to do is offend anyone."

So to help they hire a woman, Gwen (Kate McKinnon), who does not agree with his assessment that nose-kisses are okay because he took a DNA kit "like Lizzie [Warren]" and found out he's one percent Eskimo.

Gwen ushers in a few democratic voters who are on the fence about their primary choices. One such is a woman who just wants a candidate who can and will beat Donald Trump. "Oh you mean the guy who actually bragged about assault on tape?" Sudeikis as Biden asks. "Yes, but unlike his voters, your voters actually care," his staffer replies.

After he seems to fail the lesson miserably, he promises, "I hear you and I feel you, I feel you. So, come on let's hug it out, America, okay? Biden and some woman in 2020, we can do that!"

Saturday Night Live airs live at 11:30/10:30c on NBC.
