Jason Katims is heading to Hulu! The Parenthood showrunner's upcoming drama received a straight-to-series, 10-episode order, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Way, which Katims developed with Parenthood writer and producer Jessica Goldberg, tells the story of a family at the center of a controversial faith-based movement.
"Jason Katims is responsible for the most groundbreaking shows about family seen through unique lenses," Hulu's Senior VP and Head of Content Craig Erwich said in a statement. "He and Jessica Goldberg have delivered a provocative take on a controversial, dangerous and thrilling world."
Katims, who also executive-produced Friday Night Lights and recently wrapped up the beloved NBC show Parenthood, currently runs the NBC comedy About a Boy, which has yet to be picked up for a third season. The Way begins filming this summer.
