Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle was sentenced to just over 15 and a half years in prison on Thursday, Fox59 reports.
Fogle's defense was arguing for a five-year sentence, while prosecutors were seeking no more than 12 and a half years. However, the judge ultimately ordered Fogle to 188 months for conspiracy to distribute and receive child pornography and traveling to have sex with a minor.
In August, Fogle agreed to plead guilty and has since paid out $1.4 million in restitution, divided equally between 14 victims. As part of the deal, Fogle will also register as a sex offender and get treatment for sexual disorders.

During the sentence hearing, Fogle told the court, "I take full responsibility for what I've done" and said that he wants to "make a positive impact" following his release.
