Jane the Virgin Is Gonna Get Ya Gloria Estefan for a Guest Appearance

Jane the Virgin has a history of nabbing awesome guest stars in its two seasons, including Britney Spears, Kesha and living legend Charo. And the show will keep up the streak heading into Season 3, with Gloria and Emilio Estefan making an appearance on the CW telenovela.

Jane the Virgin: Eva Longoria will bless us with her presence this season

The musicians and business moguls will play themselves, Vulture notes, but won't perform. (Perhaps they're too busy managing their restaurants, real estate empire and killing it on Broadway and all.) Instead, they'll be dropping knowledge -- arriving to help Rogelio (Jamie Camil) as he tries to adapt a Latin telenovela for American audiences.

Adding to the meta-ness of it all, the episode will be directed by Eva Longoria ,who happens to know a little something about adapting telenovelas herself.

Jane the Virgin's third season begins Monday, Oct. 17 at 9/8c on The CW.
