Psychfavorite James Roday is returning to TV in a new ABC dramedy.

The network announced on Wednesday that it was picking up A Million Little Things to series for the next TV season. The hour dramedy stars Roday, Grimm alum David Giuntoli, Romany Malco and Christina Ochoa as a group of friends stuck in their lives until one of them dies unexpectedly. The loss of their friend pushes the social circle to reevaluate their stalwart existence and really start to live. There's no word on who plays the dead friend yet, but this could be the first ghost alert of the 2018-19 TV season.

A Million Little Things is ABC's second drama pick-up for next year after Rachel Bilson's Take Two, which got a straight to series order earlier in the year. The network will also stage the television return of Nathan Fillion in his comedy The Rookie and The Goldbergs will see their 90s-set spin-off come to light next year as well.

ABC still has a few hot pilots up for contention including two Scandal alum projects: Scott Foley's Whiskey Cavalier and the Bellamy Young fronted False Profits.
