The couple exchanged vows in front of 85 guests — including their 2-year-old son and ringbearer Hunter — in a chapel in Santa Cruz, Calif. Other guests included fellow Season 10 Idol finalists Haley Reinhart, Casey Abrams and Stefano Langone.
At the reception following the ceremony, the couple was surprised by Geoff Tate, the frontman for metal band Queensrÿche, who performed his 1984 hit, "Take Hold of the Flame."
"We are so in love and happy that we got to share our special day with our closest family and friends," Durbin and Lowe said in a statement to the magazine. "This wedding was the perfect way to kick off the New Year. We are looking forward to living happily ever after."
Durbin placed fourth on Idol and released his debut album, Memories of a Beautiful Disaster, in November.
