VIDEO: Stand Up 2 Cancer Resurrects Desperate Housewives Casualty James Denton for PSA

Desperate Housewives' Mike Delfino lost his life after standing up to a loan shark, and now the actor behind Wisteria Lane's latest casualty, James Denton, is standing up for a much bigger cause: cancer.

An ambassador for Stand Up 2 Cancer, Denton appears in a new video promoting the QN2A Project, an interactive program where all cancer patients and caregivers can share the major questions and answers that helped them better understand their diagnosis. In addition to visiting QN2A.org, users can check out the project's Twitter account for more information.

"When my mother was diagnosed with cancer, one of the hardest challenges she faced was the overwhelming questions that came with that life-altering event," Denton said in a statement. "Her courage is what inspired me to partner with Stand Up To Cancer and Cancer Treatment Centers of America to remind patients and their caregivers through this PSA that knowledge really is power."
