The Late Late Show's James Corden will be taking over the hosting honors for the 70th Annual Tony Awards on June 12.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Tony Awards," Corden said in a statement. "Both times I've worked on Broadway have been amongst the happiest times of my professional life. I consider it a huge honor to be asked to host such an incredible night. It's gonna be fun, I can't wait to dust off my tap shoes!"

While this is Corden's first time hosting the Tony Awards, he's no stranger to the Broadway award show. He won the 2012 award for Best Actor in a Play for his run in One Man, Two Guvnors. He's proven his musical chops time and again during his Late Late Show "Carpool Karaoke" but anyone still doubting Corden's chops should see his performance in 2014's Into the Woods.

What routines will Corden pull out for the show? Tune in June 12 at 8/7c on CBS to find out.
