On Tuesday's Late Late Show, James Cordon proved once again that he's the best late-night host when it comes to taking musicians out of their comfort zones.

Cordon and his guest, Paula Abdul, recreated her 1989 video for "Opposites Attract," complete with matching choreography. Corden went whole hog - or cat, as it were - to play MC Skat Cat for the duet, while Abdul donned a form-fitting white bell bottom jumpsuit.

The original video featured Abdul singing along with a cartoon version of MC Skat Cat, as well as other animated characters. (We much prefer Cordon's live-action interpretation.)
