James Carville Joins Fox News

Democratic strategist James Carville is making an interesting career move: He has joined Fox News Channel as a contributor. "James' successful and storied career in politics over several decades is an enormous asset to FOX News," Bill Shine, the network's executive vice president of programming, said in a statement. "We are privileged to have him lend his breadth of experience, wit and dynamic perspective on the network."

Carville, best known for being the lead strategist on Bill Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign and a senior political advisor to Clinton, will be a rare liberal voice on the typically conservative network. However, he's no stranger to bipartisanship — his wife is Republican strategist Mary Matalin.

Carville, who has publicly voiced his support for Hillary Clinton in 2016, was most recently a contributor at CNN and is currently a professor at Tulane University.

Do you think Carville will be a good addition to Fox News?
