How much drama will follow the crew back to the city? (A lot!)

Lindsay Hubbard, In The City
Kareem Black/BravoThe Summer House universe is expanding and there's a lot more chaos in store when Bravo welcomes the spin-off In The City to its roster of dramatic reality fare this month.
If Summer House is about weekend parties and escapes to the beach while navigating adulthood during the week, In The City flips the formula to follow big city careers, friendships, and life in Manhattan. It's a more grown-up version of Summer House, with some of the longtime well-known personalities showing a new side to their lives.
Naturally, we already have questions, like who's in it, how is it connected to Summer House, and what does this mean for the original series? Keep scrolling to learn more about In The City ahead of its series premiere this spring.
Everything you need for spring TV:
In The City is a docuseries that follows Summer House cast members and a few new personalities as they live and work in New York City. It's all about thirty-somethings trying to balance work, life, relationships, and dreams in Manhattan, with lots of dramatics in between.
In The City debuts on Tuesday, May 19 at 9/8c on Bravo with a two-hour episode. Conveniently, the premiere immediately follows the Season 10 finale of Summer House, and episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
There sure is!
When Summer House debuted a decade ago, it was about a group of friends who escaped the city every weekend to party in a shared house in the Hamptons. At first, it was about tired professionals trying to find some kind of a social life on the weekends after working their butts off all week. However, as the cast aged and evolved, relationships and new careers began taking over the storylines.
In The City is a chance for Summer House fans to see how these personalities live throughout the work week and fall weekends at home. It's about growing up and finding yourself, all while figuring out who should be in your inner circle and who doesn't really have your back.

Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, Gavin Moseley, Eoin Heavey, Lindsay Hubbard, Georgina Ferzli, Katie DeLuca, Andrea Denver, Nick Barber, Lexi Sundin, Yvonne Najor, Kenny Martin, and Whitney Fransway, In The City
Kareem Black/BravoAccording to Bravo, the cast for Season 1 of In The City includes Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Danielle Olivera, Eoin Heavey, Andrea Denver, Lexi Sundin, Nick Barber, Yvonne Najor, Georgina Ferzil, Whitney Fransway, Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley, and Katie Arundel.
In The City began filming immediately where Summer House Season 10 left off, which means the cameras are following the cast during some of their biggest life moments to-date. We're talking parenthood, separation, marriage, and new careers.
In The City definitely addresses Kyle and Amada's separation, and it will also cover "Scamanda," aka Amanda's new relationship with Summer House co-star West Wilson. Many fans see that new romance as a betrayal of their mutual friend (and West's ex), Ciara Miller. In fact, In The City had to film new scenes after news of the relationship broke to address the divide. (And let's be honest, it's what the fans want to see more of!)
During the latest season of Summer House, Kyle and Amanda were still married, although, as usual, their relationship was full of ups and downs. However, this time around the editing captured a new side of West and Amanda's friendship, especially during the times he came to Amanda's defense during a fight. That edit has made fans wonder whether things started brewing between the pair earlier than they admitted.
Meanwhile, West and Ciara finally mended their friendship and became flirty again, after breaking up two years ago when Ciara found out from the media that West wasn't ready for a relationship. The pair had finally resolved to be friends again, with everyone in the house speculating whether they'd get back together.
Summer House wrapped filming before Amanda announced her separation from Kyle or her new relationship, but both will be addressed in the Summer House reunion and during In The City.
Summer House's future is undetermined, but Season 10 is definitely the end of an era. Original member Carl Radke has said this current season will probably be the last time the core group is together, and even now, Lindsay Hubbard's screen time has been linimted with her being a new mom. Add in Amanda and Kyle's separation, not to mention Ciara's feelings of betrayal, and it seems likely that if Summer House continues, it will be with a new group of friends.
