Rapper Iggy Azalea broke a month-long Twitter silence on Tuesday to respond to Erykah Badu's diss of her during the Soul Train awards Sunday night.

"We are days from 2016, but I came online today and saw it's still cool to try and discredit my 2014 accomplishments. LOL, f---ing hell," she tweeted. "Seems exhausting. Anyway - I've been enjoying the holiday season and I hope you all have too."

R&B singer and 2015 Soul Train Awards host Badu threw shade at Azalea during her opening monologue. She said she was "banning all rap" from the ceremony, and acted like she was turning down rappers' requests to participate over the phone (Badu has been very into phones lately). But when Azalea called, she said "No, no, no, no, no. You can come, because what you're doing is definitely not rap."

Azalea's song "Fancy" was one of the biggest hits of 2014, but she has taken a lot of heat in the hip-hop world from critics who accuse her of appropriating black culture, and also of not making good music.

Azalea also gave an update on her still-in-production followup to 2014's The New Classic, tweeting that she's finished recording and is waiting on other performers to contribute features while she restructures tracks to "work smoother and better for me."
