Smallville's Alan Ritchson and Others Join The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Alan Ritchson, E. Roger Mitchell and Maria Howell are the latest actors to sign on for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Jena Malone joins Catching Fire cast

Ritchson (Smallville) will portray Gloss, a former career tribute from District 1 who competes in a special all-star edition of The Hunger Games that occurs in the highly anticipated sequel. Additionally, Mitchell (Battle: Los Angeles) will play Chaff, the male tribute from District 11, and Howell (The Color Purple) will play Seeder, the female tribute from District 11.

Catching Fire will feature returning cast members Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks and Woody Harrelson, as well as newcomers Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jena Malone and more.
