Hugh Hefner's Lifetime Wedding Special to Air as "Runaway Bride" Theme

Hugh Hefner's wedding special will take place on Lifetime as planned — only without the bride.

"The marriage special planned for Lifetime TV is now going to have a 'runaway bride' theme & will air in July," Hefner tweeted on Wednesday.

The 85-year-old Playboy founder was set to marry Crystal Harris, 25, last weekend, but Harris called off the wedding just days before. Lifetime was planning to air the nuptials as a two-hour special featuring wedding highlights on July 13.

"Holly & Kendra were here today lending their emotional support as we shot for the Lifetime TV special," Hefner added. Holly Madison and Kendra Wilkinson are ex-girlfriends and famous from their time, along with Bridget Marquardt, on E!'s The Girls Next Door.

Although Us Weekly reports that Hefner has allowed his ex-fiance to keep her $90,000 diamond engagement ring and Bentley, Harris did return a very prized possession: their dog.

"Crystal brought Charlie back because she thinks he's happier here & I appreciate it, because I really missed him," Hefner said.
