Huckabee's Victory a Bargain Compared to Obama's

Not only did Mike Huckabee best all other Republican contenders in Thursday's Iowa caucuses, collecting 35 percent of the GOP vote, he did so while ponying up a fraction of what Barack Obama did to claim victory among his own party (earning 38 percent of the Democratic lovin'). With candidates overall spending on Iowa-targeted TV spots quintuple what they did in '04, Obama's campaign shelled out more than $9.5 million, more than any other contender. And Huckabee? A mere $1.4 million. Now that's priceless. — Ben Katner
