Embattled New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was also in attendance. After reminding the crowd that Sunday's Super Bowl was taking place in his state, Christie introduced performers Bon Jovi.

Kimmel provided some good-natured ribbing of Stern, joking that he's "the most profoundly self-obsessed person on the planet," according to the Post.

Other attendees included Steven Tyler, Rosie O'Donnell, Robert Downey Jr. and Tracy Morgan. John Fogerty, The Black Keys and Adam Levine also performed.

On Saturday morning, Stern noted via Twitter that he was "still recovering."
