Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles host the 72nd Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Look for celebrity presenters and other appearances, including Christine Baranski, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Melissa Benoist, Rachel Bloom, Tituss Burgess, Jeff Daniels, Robert De Niro, Billy Joel, Katharine McPhee, Bernadette Peters, Ming-Na Wen, Kerry Washington, Uzo Aduba, Matt Bomer, Claire Danes, Armie Hammer, Tatiana Maslany, Leslie Odom, Jr., Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto, and Andrew Rannells.

Female nominees this year include Glenda Jackson, Condola Rashad, Amy Schumer, Lauren Ambrose, Laurie Metcalf, Tina Fey, and Diana Rigg. The men nominated this time include John Leguizamo, Andrew Garfield, Denzel Washington, Tony Shalhoub, Michael Cera, David Morse, and Nathan Lane. Plays which are up for consideration include SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical and Mean Girls, with 12 nominations each, and The Band's Visit, which has 11 nominations.

Other nominated plays include familiar names such as Frozen, Angels in America, My Fair Lady, Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel, Meteor Shower, Eugene O'Neill's The Iceman Cometh, and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts One and Two. The 72nd Annual Tony Awards will air on CBS as a three-hour telecast this coming Sunday, June 10th, starting at 8/7c, and are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
