There's no shortage of superhero shows on TV right now, but Syfy's Krypton aims to deliver a fresh take on the popular genre.
Set two generations before Superman's birth, Krypton follows the grandfather of the iconic hero, Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), who meets a mysterious stranger from the future named Adam (Shaun Sipos) and is warned about a threat facing Krypton and the important role his grandson, Kal-El, will eventually play. Seg then must rebuild his family's reputation within Kryptonian society while simultaneously finding a way to save his home planet from destruction by evil forces.
