Things are about to get very intense on Game of Thrones — okay, so it already has been pretty severe, but now that it's the final season it's pretty much open season on everybody, and no one is safe.

Season 8's third episode, which will become the record-holder for the series' longest, promises to bring about a lot of bloodshed and heartbreak as the Night King's army descends upon Winterfell on the beginning of the leader of the dead's trek towards establishing "an endless night." Whether the series will spare our favorites or finally make use of all those weapons the characters have painstakingly collected over the years remains to be seen, but we can be sure that this final stretch of the series is not one fans will want to miss out on during its initial airing.

Need HBO? Add it through Hulu or through Amazon.

Game of Thrones has always been one of those shows you'll want to catch the night of so you can be part of the cultural conversation, but that will be especially true in this final stretch of the series — unless you like getting major character deaths spoiled by the social media frenzy, that is.

So, if you are looking for details on how to watch the show beyond just setting your DVR, we've got you covered.
