The Washington Capitals managed to hold on to tie the series with a win Wednesday night in Las Vegas, and they'll head back to D.C. having split the series at one. Alex Ovechkin was throwing his body around all night, and scored his first goal in the series when he made it 2-1 with a power play goal in the second period. Lars Eller factored into all three of the Washington goals, scoring one, and assisting on the other two, while Braden Holtby won the battle between the goaltenders, stopping 37 of the 39 shots he faced (94.9%), including an amazing save with two minutes left in the game to keep his team ahead by a goal.

The two teams now head east to Washington, D.C., where the Capitals will be looking for some strong play in front of the hometown crowd. Vegas will go into Saturday's game looking to capitalize on the man advantage; they had five power play chances and only scored once.
