How to Get Away with Murder Adds Dexter Alum as Annalise's Boss

How to Get Away with Murder has added Dexter's Luna Vélez in a recurring role.

Vélez, who played Dexter's (Michael C. Hall) boss Captain Maria LaGeurta on the Showtime drama, will now play Annalise Keating's (Viola Davis) boss on HTGAWM, TVGuide.com can confirm. She will play the president of Middleton University, where Keating teaches.

In addition to her role on Dexter, Vélez, who used to go by the name Lauren, is also known for her work on Ugly Betty, Ozand Law & Order: SVU.
