Real Housewives of NYC Star Sonja Morgan Booked on Suspicion of Drunken Driving

Real Housewives of New York Citynewbie Sonja Morgan was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving over Memorial Day weekend.

Morgan, 46, was charged with a misdemeanor DWI on Monday, according to the Southhampton, N.Y., Police Department.

Morgan, who joined Housewives this season, was pulled over after failing to stop at a stop sign in her BMW. "She was processed and held for morning arraignment where she was released on her own recognizance," a police statement said.

Morgan is due back in court June 21.

The cable network that carries the show that focuses on the "real" lives of the housewives issued a statement saying: "Bravo does not comment on the private lives of the talent on our shows."

The Season 3 finale of The Real Housewives of New York City airs Thursday at 10/9c on Bravo.
