The problem is NOT that it's too hot, Country Music Television says.
At a recent concert, Dancing with the Stars pro-turned-country singer Julianne Hough told the crowd that the video for her new single, "Is That So Wrong," was "kind of banned" by CMT, according to The Washington Post.
"Apparently I was taking off too many clothes as I was dancing across my bedroom," the 22-year-old said.
In the video, Hough, wearing her shortest pair of Daisy Dukes, does a little striptease on various pieces of furniture while dancing seductively for an attractive neighbor. She loses her shirt before writhing around on her bed in a bra.
For its part, CMT says Hough has it so wrong. "CMT did not ban Julianne's video; in fact, we world-premiered the video back in July," said network spokeswoman Lisa Chader. "We took it down shortly thereafter due to ongoing contract negotiations with Julianne's record label.
Still, Hough's video remains off the network's website (and the commenters are less than thrilled about it).
