Hot in Cleveland is showing no signs of cooling down. TV Land has renewed the sitcom, starring Betty White, for a fifth season.

The renewal will also bring Hot in Cleveland past its 100th episode — the magic number of episodes most series need in order to be sold in syndication. CBS Television Distribution announced in January that it will syndicate the comedy beginning in September 2014.

Fall TV Scorecard: What shows are returning? Which aren't?

"This is an incredible milestone for the show and for TV Land," TV Land President Larry W. Jones said in a statement. "To have our first scripted sitcom make it to the syndication level is a huge accomplishment. We have a brilliant creative team both in front of and behind the camera. We are so proud to be on this exciting ride with them."

Also starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick, Hot in Cleveland centers on three best friends from Los Angeles who abruptly decide to move to Cleveland after their plane to Paris makes a stop in the Ohio city. White, 91, has won two Screen Actors Guild awards for her performance on the series.

Shooting on Season 5 will kick off this fall. New episodes of Hot in Cleveland, including the highly anticipated live episode, will debut on Wednesday, June 19 at 10/9c.
