Made of Honor's Dempsey Lauds Own Real-life Bride

Love was in the air at the Monday premiere of Made of Honor in New York City, thanks in no small part to the movie's McDreamy star. Grey's Anatomy's Patrick Dempsey — who in the romantic comedy plays a rogue that begins pining for his platonic pal (Michelle Monaghan) — was the very first celebrity to hit the mile-long pink carpet at the event. So how is he handling the transition from the halls of Seattle Grace to the silver screen? "I hope it's seamless!" he tells TV Guide. hysterical.")
Dempsey managed to score bonus points in the gentleman department by crediting his successful streak to the support of wife Jill Fink, his escort for the evening: "Without her, I wouldn't be here," he said.
And they weren't the only ones feeling lovey-dovey that night: Just before the movie began, Pennsylvania-based couple Michelle Golightly and Shaun Bollinger - the winners of an online "Get Married at the Premiere" contest - tied the knot outside of the Ziegfeld Theater as their friends, family and the cast looked on. The ceremony was officiated by the newly ordained Mary Hart (of Entertainment Tonight), and afterwards the newlyweds were whisked off for a honeymoon to Paris and Venice. Talk about getting a Hollywood ending. - Ingela Ratledge, with reporting by Leanne Shear
