The Hollywood Walk of Fame 2020 Class Is Here

It's an honor to be recognized for their work

Rachel Paige

While you might not be able to meet some of your favorite stars in real life, you can at least meet some of your favorite stars' stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles, California. The Walk of Fame Selection Committee has just announced the Class of 2020, meaning we finally know who will be receiving the honor in the coming year, and it's a mix of celebrities from so many of our favorite shows (and movies!) over the past few years.

On the TV side, Milo Ventimiglia is receiving a star, obviously for his recent time on This Is Us, but we can pretend it's for Gilmore Girls' Jess Mariano. Also on the list are Christina Applegate, Andy Cohen, Terry Crews, Wendy Williams, Kathie Lee Gifford, and Burt Ward, who played Robin in the original 1960s live-action Batman series. Also, the caped crusader himself, Batman, is getting a star, but his will be identified under "movies," not television.

As for the film side of things, Mahershala Ali, costume designer Ruth E. Carter, Laurence Fishburne, Chris Hemsworth, Spike Lee, Julia Roberts, and Octavia Spencer will receive a star this year, while Dave Chappelle and Billy Porter are getting one for "live theater/live performance."

No dates have been announced for when any of these star ceremonies will take place, but we can guess that Ventimiglia's will probably be tied in some way to a This Is Us premiere or milestone, and the next time Hemsworth opens a big blockbuster, he'll likely pose with a cement star in the ground. Upcoming ceremonies are announced 10 days before they occur, so be on the lookout for when they happen in Hollywood.
