Question: Hey, Michael! Love, love, love you on the TV Guide Channel! And Sirius would be crazy not to give you your own show. OK, enough about you, let's talk seriously about my favorite show: The Shield. I heard rumors that we may not see the remainder of Season 5 until next January? Answer: I spent a good chunk of my Presidents' Day weekend catching up on this season's Shield, and to say it was time well spent would be an understatement. I didn't think anything could top last season with Glenn Close, but this whole mess with Forest Whitaker's wonderfully creepy Kavanaugh has raised the cop-drama bar to a whole new level. Now back to your question, the second half of Season 5 is tentatively slated to air later this year or, worst case, early 2007.
