TV Guide Magazine: How's it going so far?
Heidi Klum: It was like someone kicked me into a pool of ice-cold water! I had no idea what to expect. I was like, "Whoa!" Everyone's cheering you, giving you a high five. You feel like a rock star. People are genuine — they love the show and are so into it. It was fun.

TV Guide Magazine: Will you be a nice judge or a nasty one?
Klum: I am softer when I'm right in front of these people than when I was judging from my couch. When I was at home, I was like, "Oh, my God, that was horrible! Get off the stage!"

TV Guide Magazine: How do you think you'll get along with the other judges?
Klum: People would probably love us to butt heads or for the girls' claws to come out, but I don't think that's going to happen with us. Sometimes we don't agree on things, but that's what makes it fun. But who knows? It was only Day 1!

TV Guide Magazine: Does this new gig mean Project Runway will end its run soon?
Klum: Oh, no. I love Project Runway — it's my baby. As long as people want to see it, I want to put it on the air.

TV Guide Magazine: What are you looking for in a winning AGT act?
Klum: I just want to be surprised. I love to be entertained. I'm not saying that I'm jaded, but I've seen a lot of things. So I feel like I can see a star when one is standing there.
