HBO Orders Danny McBride Comedy About Vice Principals
Danny McBride will return to HBO in a new comedy called Vice Principals, the network announced on Wednesday. The series is about a high school and the people who almost run it -- the vice principals. McBride will executive-produce alongside his Eastbound & Down team that includes Jody Hill, David Gordon Green and Stephanie Laing.

"Danny McBride and Jody Hill have created a smart, rowdy and unpredictable style of comedy that we can't get enough of," Michael Lombardo, president of HBO Programming, said in a statement. "The idea of them setting their minds on high school was irresistible."
The premiere date for the project, which has an18-episode order, has yet to be announced.
