Hart of Dixie's Rachel Bilson: It's Nice to See Zoe with Another New Yorker

When Zoe Hart first came to Bluebell, Ala., in the pilot episode of Hart of Dixie, she was a true blue New Yorker. Two years later, Zoe may still walk the New York walk and talk the New York talk, but her heart really lies in the small Southern town.

"At this point in time, as much as she would like to argue this ... Bluebell is her home," Rachel Bilson told TVGuide.com in our video interview from the show's set. "She definitely feels like she belongs there."

Although Zoe has yet to pick up the Southern drawl and the fashion sense popular in Bluebell, Bluebell has changed Zoe in other ways. "She's a little nice, she cares about other people. She definitely was a  hard-edged New Yorker, so I think that she's just warmer," Bilson said.

But now that Zoe has made a real home for herself in Bluebell, will her new boyfriend Joel (Josh Cooke) be able to do the same? "I think it's nice to see Zoe with another New Yorker. He's now the fish out of water brought into Bluebell so it's kind of like a project," Bilson said.
