Kaitlyn Black has been with Hart of Dixie since the second episode, but she had something extra special to celebrate before Season 3 kicked off. Over the summer, Black was promoted to a series regular.

"I feel like I've been a part of the family for a really long time ... but it's nice to make it official," Black told TVGuide.com in our video interview from the show's set. "It's lovely that they welcomed me with open arms."

Hart of Dixie's Bluebell and more of our favorite TV small towns

But just because Black, and subsequently her character Annabeth, will be sticking around Bluebell for the foreseeable future doesn't mean Annabeth's relationship with Lavon (Cress Williams) will be all rainbows and sunshine. "There are some rough patches ahead, some waves coming, but hopefully we'll be able to get through them," Black said. "As of right now, we're looking strong."

So what else is coming up for Annabeth this season? And, most importantly, will her relationships with Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Lemon (Jaime King) help the longtime enemies find a way to make nice once and for all? Check out the rest of our interview with Black below.

Hart of Dixie airs Mondays at 8/7c on The CW. Are you worried for Annabeth and Lavon?
