Update 3:59 p.m. PT on 3/14/19: Hallmark has decided to pull the March 17 episode of When Calls the Heart from its schedule. The show is working to write out Loughlin's character, according to Deadline.

Hallmark sweetheart Lori Loughlin not only got arrested this week, but she is also losing her crown as a Hallmark Christmas queen.

Loughlin, along with 50 other people, including fellow actress Felicity Huffman, were indicted on Wednesday in a nationwide college admissions scandal. Loughlin was taken into custody and released on a $1 million bond after it was revealed she and her husband, Mossimo Gianulli, allegedly paid over $500,000 in bribes to the University of Southern California to have their two daughters admitted as recruits for the crew team, despite neither of them rowing.

Even though Loughlin has not submitted a plea to the charges yet, Crown Media and its affiliate networks have cut ties with the actress, halting production and development of any new projects with Loughlin, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations," the company said in a statement to the trade. "We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin, including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production."

Aside from Garage Sale Mysteries, Loughlin also starred in the series When Calls the Heartand its annual Christmas film. When Calls the Heart is currently airing its sixth season.

TV Guide reached out to Hallmark for confirmation but had not heard back at time of publication.
