Jason George is returning to Grey's Anatomyfor multiple episodes in Season 8, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

George, who recently starred on Off the Map, will reprise his role as Ben, the anesthesiologist Bailey (Chandra Wilson) dated before having a come-to-Jesus moment in the aftermath of the Seattle Grace shooting.

Since then, Bailey has been getting pretty physical with Nurse Eli (Daniel Sunjata), so their reunion should be pretty awkward.

George, whose credits also include Eli Stoneand What About Brian, will first appear in late October or early November. The news was first reported by TVLine.com.

Grey's Anatomy returns Thursday, Sept. 22 at 9/8c on ABC.
