One of the best things about Grey's Anatomyis that it can make you laugh, cry and cringe with secondhand embarrassment, and this week's crossover with Station 19 will be no exception. Expect the two-hour event to be jam-packed with action, drama and, according to the exclusive sneak peek above, a few laughs.

In Thursday's episode, Station 19's Dean (Okieriete Onaodowan) drops by Grey Sloan to check in on a patient, and by check in, we obviously mean ask Maggie (Kelly McCreary) out on a date. However, the fake inquiry quickly backfires when Maggie reveals that said patient is actually doing worse than expected. But that doesn't stop Dean from mustering up the courage to ask Maggie to dinner, and the awkward segue earns an expected response from Maggie: laughter.

"Don't have to laugh," he says, amid Maggie's uncontrollable fit of giggles.

Now, to be fair, it's not her fault! She has a very good reason for awkwardly laughing in his face. "It's just... I had a fiancé named Dean once," she tells the embarrassed firefighter.

Remember Dean? He loved to cuddle and Maggie found it impossible to sleep next to another person. In the end, Dean couldn't be with someone who couldn't sleep in the same room as him, so they broke up. Everything worked out for the best though; he's now married to a woman who loves to cuddle and Maggie is with Jackson (Jesse Williams)... sort of.

Their relationship was left up in the air when Jackson pulled a disappearing act after being rocked by a near-death experience. According to showrunner Krista Vernoff, the pair will struggle this season, and it looks like the seeds of that conflict have already been sewn. While we don't yet know if Maggie will accept Dean's invitation, it's clear that she and Jackson have some things to work out.

Catch all the exciting drama of ABC's two-hour crossover on Thursday, Oct. 11, starting with Grey's Anatomy at 8/7c, followed by Station 19 at 9/8c.
