A&E Greenlights Paranormal Cops

Watch out spirits and ghouls of Chicago, Paranormal Cops ain't afraid of no ghosts!
A&E has given the greenlight to a new series, Paranormal Cops, which follows a team of real-life Chicago-area police officers who also work as paranormal investigators.
"Paranormal Cops is the perfect marriage of A&E's successful crime and justice genre with our blossoming paranormal programming that documents real-life accounts of bona fide paranormal investigators," said Senior Vice President at A&E, Robert Sharenow.
Paranormal Cops features the "larger-than-life" cops' work as Chicago-area police officers by day, as well as their forensic and investigative expertise with paranormal casework by night.
The cops will respond to the pleas of ordinary people who feel victimized by inexplicable activities in their homes and workplaces, as well as taking cases from their day jobs when called to action.
This is A&E's second venture into ghostly territory. Paranormal State is set to debut its third season Jan. 19 at 10 pm/ET. State revolves around case files of the Paranormal Research Society (PRS) — a renowned group of Penn State University students — who investigate paranormal phenomena using Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) recordings, client interviews and video documentation.
No premiere date has been set for Paranormal Cops.
