Gotham Adds Carol Kane, Kyle Massey

Carol Kane and Kyle Massey are heading to Gotham.

Kane, who starred as Simka Dahblitz-Gravas in Taxi, has been cast in Fox's Batman origin series as Gertrud Kapelput, the mother of Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), according to TVLine.

Described as "a proud and faded beauty with delusions of grandeur," Gertrud will first show up in Episode 2.

Massey has landed the recurring role of Mackey, an abused kid who lives on the streets of Gotham, TVLine reports.

Kane's other TV credits include Girls, Two and a Half Men and Ugly Betty, while Massey has appeared on several Disney Channel shows, including That's So Raven, as well as Dancing with the Stars.
