The CW has moved up the series premiere of Gossip Girl to Sept. 19, a week earlier than planned, to better capitalize on the onset of the high school and collegiate school years and also avoid debuting opposite Bionic Woman and Private Practice, Variety reports. What's more, GG will now benefit from having the season premiere of America's Next Top Model as a lead-in. In fact, the Josh Schwartz-created sudser is enjoying such good buzz that there is already talk it is ripe for midseason interruption by the Pussycat Dolls reality series! (I joke... hopefully.)
