Goran Visnjic Joins ABC's Red Widow

Goran Visnjic has been cast as a series regular on ABC's midseason mob drama Red Widow, Deadline reports.

The ER alum will play mob boss Schiller, a far cry from his previous regular role as Dr. Luka Kovac on the medical drama. (Thomas Kretschmann played Schiller in the pilot.)

ABC orders Connie Britton drama, Sarah Chalke comedy and 7 more to series

The series, which is based on a Dutch format, stars Radha Mitchell as a widow who becomes involved with a crime syndicate after her gangster husband is murdered by a rival organization.
