Ask Issa for a pickup line, we dare you
If you've ever wanted Insecure creator and star Issa Rae to help you get through the day, you're in luck. Rae's voice is now featured as a cameo on Google Assistant, available in English for a limited time in the U.S.
To hear Rae's voice, users can say, "Hey Google, talk like Issa," or go to "Assistant Voice" in Assistant Settings. One particularly cute feature is the ability to ask her for a joke or advice, just like her character does on Insecure (which is now shooting, she revealed on her Instagram recently).
Rae isn't the first celebrity to make a vocal cameo on the platform; EGOT winner John Legend was previously featured in the spring.
If you're looking for a little guidance from the actress/writer/producer, here are a few prompts that lead to Easter eggs from Rae.
