The Good Wife spin-off has added another familiar face! Sarah Steele will be reprising her role as Eli Gold's ( Alan Cumming ) blunt and intelligent daughter Marissa Gold in the CBS All Access spin-off. According to Deadline , Marissa will begin the series as Diane Lockhart's ( Christine Baranski ) secretary before discovering she has a knack for investigating, making her the new series' Kalinda ( Archie Panjabi ). The spin-off will take place one year after the events of The Good Wife series finale and center on "an enormous financial scam" that ruins the reputation of a young lawyer and wipes out Diane's savings. When the veteran lawyer finds herself locked out of Lockhart & Lee in the aftermath, she takes her protege to join Lucca Quinn ( Cush Jumbo ) at her firm.
