The first trailer for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Lifewill give you a serious case of the warm and fuzzies.
In the two-and-a-half minute preview of the four-part revival, it's immediately obvious that not much has changed in Stars Hollow in the past nine years. Miss Patty's still teaching dance classes. Taylor's still being a pain in the butt. And Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) still have the best taste in food and movies.
But the trailer also delivers a few unexpected surprises that we need answers about ASAP. Why is Kirk (Sean Gunn) at Friday night dinner? Is Emily (Kelly Bishop) really wearing a Candie's T-shirt? Why is there a pig running around the town square? Is there real trouble between Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai?
And, most importantly, how is it possible that Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) still looks so damn good?
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premieres Friday, Nov. 25 on Netflix.
