Gary Oldman has a hard time staying married. The Dark Knight actor and Alexandra Edenborough, Oldman's fourth wife, are getting a divorce, People reports.

Edenborough, 36, filed divorce papers on Friday, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple got married on New Year's Eve in 2008.

As for the legal dirt, Edenborough has asked for spousal support and compensation for her attorneys, and has requested that Oldman is not awarded spousal support.

For Oldman, 56, it ends his fourth marriage since the late 1980s. The actor married Lesley Manville in 1987 before splitting in 1989. He was married to Uma Thurman for two years beginning in 1990, and was married to Donya Fiorentino from 1997 to 2001. Oldman has three sons from the marriages, including Alfie from Manville, and Gulliver and Charlie from Fiorentino.
