Check out this behind-the-scenes look at HBO's highly anticipated second season of Game of Thrones, airing in spring 2012. The season will mainly focus on the events in George R.R. Martin's A Clash of Kings, the second book in the best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire series on which Thrones is based.

"One of the great challenges of the second season is that the world just expanded enormously," says executive producer and writer David Benioff. "Not only do we introduce a great number of new characters, but we're journeying to all new locations."

Among those new characters you can actually spot in the video is The Tudors' Natalie Dormer, who plays the lovely Margaery Tyrell, who's been hanging out with an antler-crowned Renly (Gethin Anthony) lately.

Among the Starks, we see Sansa (Sophie Turner), Catelyn (Michelle Fairley), Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) and Arya (Maisie Williams), whom we last saw escaping King's Landing disguised as a boy. We also spot Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) several times, once with Sansa and another time with King Joffrey (Jack Gleeson).
