Game of Thrones Reportedly Casts UFC Superstar for Mystery Role

The first M in MMA will stand for "Medieval" when Game of Thrones returns.

According to UFC president Dana White, The HBO fantasy series has tapped mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor for a part in the upcoming seventh season.

"I knew a few months ago they were interested in putting him in the show," White said in an interview on Fox Sports Live Tuesday. "I'm glad he did it. It'll be great."

White did not give any details on what the reigning UFC lightweight division champ's part will be, though it's probably safe to assume he won't be sitting on any Small Councils.

HBO does not comment on casting rumors, though they probably wish they could put Dana White in an armbar right now for leaking their secrets.
