It looks like Gale Harold's character is the only person on Hellcats who's not all fired up about cheerleading. Harold joins the CW drama in episode 3 as a law professor who puts Marti (Aly Michalka) to the test.
"Julian Paris is trying to determine whether or not [Marti] is actually serious about what she's saying that she wants to do," he told TV Guide Magazine at the PaleyFest Fall TV Preview Party for the CW. "She's taken a scholarship as a cheerleader, and I don't know that he truly trusts that her intentions are actually pure."
For the actor, known for Queer as Folk and more recently as Teri Hatcher's love interest on Desperate Housewives, it's his first ongoing role since a serious motorcycle accident in 2008. "I'm feeling fine," he says. I'm fortunate that I recovered very quickly. I hope to [ride motorcycles] again some day."
Might he be revving up a romance on Hellcats? "Could be," teases the actor. "As far as relationship stuff goes we can keep that somewhat vague so people will stay along with us." Now that's something to cheer for.
