There's no word on whether President Obama will guest-star, but FX has ordered 10 episodes of the new comedy Baskets, starring Zach Galifianakis, the network announced Wednesday.

Created by Galifianakis (Between Two Ferns), Louis C.K. (Louie) and Jonathan Krisel (Portlandia), Baskets follows Chip Baskets' (Galifianakis) pursuit of his dream of becoming a respected clown.

After a failing to enroll in a prestigious clowning school (is that an oxymoron?) in Paris, of all places, the only job that Chip can find is with a local rodeo in California.

"Zach Galifianakis, Louis C.K. and Jonathan Krisel have created an absolutely brilliant show," said Eric Schrier, president of original programming for FX Networks. "To say Zach's portrayal of the lead character Chip Baskets is hilarious/unique/riveting/fascinating would be an understatement.  We can't wait for the world to meet him."

Production is slated to begin next year for a 2016 premiere.
