Idina Menzel Says Frozen 2 Is (Finally!) "in the Works"

It was only a matter of time, right?

Idina Menzel, one of the stars of Frozen, says that a sequel to the wildly popular Disney movie is on the way.

"They're all in the works," Menzel told The Telegraph when asked about the rumors of a second movie and confirmed reports of a stage musical. The Broadway veteran won't star in the stage version, but she says she hopes to be asked to voice Elsa again for the sequel

"Not the stage show — I don't know what will happen with that — but the movie, hopefully," she said. "We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride."

Since its release one year ago, Frozen has grossed $1.3 billion worldwide and has spawned an ice show. Characters from the film can also currently be seen on Once Upon a Time. Fans who still need another does of Anna and Elsa before the second film arrives can also see them in a film short, coming to theaters in Spring 2015.
